Eric Trump: "My father's life became exponentially worse the minute he decided to run for president"

Eric says that overall, the people of Westchester have been very supportive of his family, with he and his spouse the frequent targets of impromptu selfies with locals. Yet, the Westchester Trumps find themselves at the epicenter of the most divisive political climate in modern history nonetheless. And whether one feels this climate began prior to his father’s ascendancy or directly because of it, Eric remains philosophical. “Every day, you get abused by somebody,” he says, referring to certain segments of the media, “and the next thing you know, you’re being parodied on Saturday Night Live. It comes with the territory. We stood center stage with my father during the campaign and beyond.” That said, he insists that he, Ivanka and Donald Jr. are fair game but that 12-year-old Barron and 24-year-old Tiffany are not. “We are adults; we’ve developed a bit of an armor,” he says, “but Barron and Tiffany should be 100 percent off-limits.”

So, then, the question becomes: Is it ever too much? To this, Lara confesses, there are times when some of her family members “pine for the old days” (though Lara did leave her associate producer job at TV’s Inside Edition to join the president’s 2020 re-election campaign). Eric, meanwhile, is quick to say that “there would be far fewer headaches if it weren’t for politics,” but it’s all worth it “when you know you’re in it for the right reasons,” he adds, adopting a more measured conversational tone. “My father’s life became exponentially worse the minute he decided to run for president. He didn’t need to do this, but he was immensely frustrated with where the country was going.”

From the glass-half-full department, Eric adds that any upheaval that resulted from his father’s election came, for him, at a “perfect turning point.” His secure private life provides a stable base, allowing him to focus both on his job with The Trump Organization and being with his nuclear family. When Eric says, “Family is what matters to me,” one can easily detect the sincerity. He scrolls through his phone to find his “favorite video in the world,” which is customarily adorable footage of his son in some sort of “bouncy” swing.

Bullshit Eric.

He's living quite well.
Golf trips to Maralago, free food, best health care, & don't forget the enormous wealth he's creating for y'all via tradmarks & tarrifs!
Only problem for the trump family is, YOU CAN NO LONGER HIDE!

He's always been an asshole, is still an asshole & will always be an asshole.
How bad can it really be for him.

"I hereby resign the office of President of the United States, effective immediately."

Sincerely,

Institutionalized people are calmed by the sucking activity. If the pacifier falls out of their mouths their tongue tries to find the nipple and they still keep trying to suck.

I don't see any reflection. Why would that be?

If they were standing at the back of the landing and the camera was lower, I'd get it, but they and it are not. Yeah, I know, perspective, parallax, standing on the first step below or something.

Still, I'm going to go with the laying low during the day, active at night theory. As in not fond of garlic. And it might explain what ever the hell he is doing with his tongue in the first photo. Making sure his incisors haven't elongated. Yep.

I sincerely wonder why he hasn’t resorted to plastic surgery. It’s not like it’s not a common recourse for his family. Especially his mother and his father.

Is he so rich that no one ever told him he’s ugly? Somehow I doubt his father never uttered cruel wounding snark about his looks. Trump does it about everyone else.

If it's such a lousy job, with a dump for public housing, and it impinges on making money, golfing, exercising a decadent lifestyle, remind him there is NO SHAME in resigning!

We'd all understand - with compassion - if he did resign. He didn't want this job anyway, and nobody really thought he'd get it.

The few pictures we've seen of him golfing, he looks so happy and content!

Explain to him he could do this everyday for the rest of his life!

Worst case scenario? He'd end up in a Federal penal institution - known as a "country club."

Sounds great, doesn't it?
