Fox ad execs are having difficulty selling ads for Hannity and Laura Ingraham. The pro-Trump thing isnt working, one staffer says. We cant monetize DACA and the wall and that right-wing shit.

The primary purpose of these shows is to shape policy, not make money. If the money dries up, the Mercers and Kochs will gladly buy up all the ad time so long as the shows remain effective at creating cover for their looting of the treasury.

That is the exact time they expect, and actually do, make the most money. Having to lower rates due to excess ad time inventory of two top prime time weekday shows hurts them badly.
