This graph looks like a 500% increase, very deceptive visual. The Bush tax cuts are STILL THERE for the first $250,000 of NET INCOME.
The taxes on first $250,000 of net income is $87,500
Taxes on next $250,000 increments of income is $99,000 or $11,500 more than first $250,000 or $34,500 more on first million $$.

They still get the tax cut on the first $250,000

This graph has 35% represented at less than a half inch and the next 4.6% is represented at about an inch and a half more above the 35% point. 35% = less than half inch 39.6% = two inches.
