The really stupid guys/gals are too damned stupid to even begin to seriously entertain the idea that they are stupid.

Of course, I could be wrong about that.

How comes he has 40% of the US voting population that doesn't see it? Answer that question.

When you agree with someone, then you would never admit that what the person says is, "stupid" Eventually over time, he will have no more than 20 to 25 percent. And everyone except those 20 to 25 percent will see him as being stupid.

Those supporters are "true believers" they will never find him wrong. Everyone else is wrong, not Trump

ideally everyone would vote for the good of the country and its people but that doesn't happen. Some vote for a certain candidate because the voter is a racist or anti gay or anti abortion or wanting no gun control or anti immigration or wanting huge tax cuts. I believe the trump voters fall into anyone of those categories. The percentage of them hovers around 35-40%.

And there are very large Democratic Majorities..in both houses....Elected by 60 percent of the voters..Is that other 40 percent still stupid? Perhaps stupid is the wrong word. ..Maybe too biased to see the "truth" is better wording. Hopefully we will have large Democratic Majorities after November..

Right now there are only three competitive races that can flip Democratic, and there are seven that can flip Republican. Maybe Collins could defect, and we get to 53-47, but I am not seeing it. I think we need to be prepared for it to remain 49-51 or worse, and Manchin is just as likely to defect the other direction (if not more so).

..This is going to be a strange election in November. Among many, Trump has created distrust and fear.
This election could defy all rules. There could be a large turnout of voters he has offended. More than anyone could predict. If that happens maybe we will take over the Senate. Many people could vote that wouldn't normally vote out of anger as to how he is running the government. Or, just out of the idea that a Democratic Senate and House of Representatives would be a check on President Trump. Also, it is June, and not October. So much could happen that we don't know. I believe that Trump is not a stable person, and anything can happen. Let us hope that whatever does, is for the good of our nation.

...FOX and other conservative channels, and a host of lesser outfits that for decades have treated liberals and Democrats as enemies of all that is good and right in the world and need to be treated with absolute contempt.

It has an effect.

It is worse than " total ignorance. " Total ignorance says...I don't know anything about it. For example, a total and complete baseball fan, might say...I know nothing about the game called, " soccer " .. The baseball fan could say, " Perhaps I might learn something about that game."

What the effect on the listener and true believer of "conservative radio" might say is something totally different. ...(not ignorance, but beyond ignorance, total hate and no desire to know, cause he already knows)

That person says, " Not only do I hate the game, "soccer", I hate all people who love that game, follow that game, and play that game. I hate them because they are awful and ignorant to spend that much time on that stupid, foolish and foreign game.."

Those people who have that effect, (by total conservative media) are clearly as stupid and uncaring as Trump
