The media facilitated the Trumpster's rise and illegitimate acquisition of the WH. All that great TV stuff. Now they claim to be shocked by the Trumpster's unfitness and downplay his criminality and treason. Because . . .

In addition to corrupt and compromised politicians, lobbyists, businessmen, I think we're going to see a number of compromised journalists called out, some of whom at very respected venues still carrying the Trumpster's water, making excuses or doing a whataboutism sleight of hand. As soon as I read something on the order of: In a way Donald Trump has a point . . .

No! He has no point. He has no reason beyond fluffing his own dirty, matted feathers.

It's time to label Donald Trump for what he is: a traitor and a willing participant in a global, criminal network. Anyone supporting the man at this point in time is just as traitorous to American values as the Trumpster.

David Corn has been ahead of the curve on Trump. He and others with a public platform need to keep the pressure on their colleagues: stop normalizing destructive behavior. And yes, the Trumpster is a genuine national threat.
