farmers are planning now for the next crops... so they are making decisions today (committing resources) under the threat of tariffs.

Some, like potato farmers, are locked in already. If things don't change... they will go bankrupt supporting dear leader.

In regards to trumpians (sometimes the wrecking ball hits your house as well.)They voted for king moron to shake it up and we all suffer. He has no grasp at all on economics not even voodoo economics.

Caught an NPR interview yesterday with an attendee at some Iowa pork producers convention, and the guy remained totally committed to Trump's policies, even after admitting it might affect his industry. Trump's actions were something needed for a long time now, he stated.

You can't fix stupid.
