The Times They are a Changing

The words speak volumes. Times are changing. It is past time for some new vibrant voices. Our children, Parkland found their voice and every politician should be ashamed for not fighting harder for their lives. Older voices that refuse to evolve are keeping us back. Some refuse to leave behind a vision they held for fifty plus years. It was said here that some admire a person for never changing and never wavering, never evolving when the world itself changes every day from their views five plus decades ago. I also read Hillary and Obama trashed for evolving on gay rights. Trash them for growing and evolving, go figure. I have to ask you, when you were, sixteen and twenty you had opinions...with everything that happened, no world event ever changed your life or mind about the world? I think not.

From the quote above, I want a politician that is fluid and changes with the times and ready to evolve and tackle each obstacle that materialize.

Before you start in on me this is NOT ageist. At 65, I sure as hell know what I want to see in the future and the world I want to see for the children I will be leaving behind.
