(14,118 posts)It used to be brewed in Peoria, IL, near where I went to college and we used to make the occasional run to pick up a keg. It was considered really good compared to the swill we usually drank. Trust me, you would probably not like it...I think it's a mid-western acquired taste. Sometimes I'm amazed I have any brain cells left at all.......

When I was growing up, PBR was $0.20 per long neck versus $0.25 for most other domestic beers.
