Like “You should have stabbed the bastard while you had the chance.”

But I tend to be a little more emotional. I might have ripped Тяцмр for legitimizing the prick. Or saying he’s trustworthy. Or for being honored to meet him.

I don’t necessarily want them to say anything else at all. I would have reacted differently but I certainly don’t hold it against them for not.

I'd guess they are exceedingly cowed by Trump's ugly racist defenders, so my guess is that they would never be more forthcoming about any potentially negative feelings, even if they wanted to.

they are ACTUALLY still grieving and hope/wish that something good can come from the loss of their son--however misguided that may be.

Leave them alone.

I'm not accusing YOU of anything! I merely point out why they may well not want to criticize either Trump or Kim.

Or were YOU defending Trump?????

Whatever, your post telling ME to leave them alone is TOTALLY out of line given neither I or anyone else here was criticizing them!

Have you descended into a fever swamp of delusion?

If I misread your tone I apologize. To me you sounded judgmental--cowed?--about people who have suffered a grievous loss. Some things should be left out of politics.

Explaining to others on the thread why a grieving family might not want to say everything they really feel about Kim or Trump is not being judgemental. Perhaps you haven't seen what Trumpistas have done to those who say even the most mildly negative comments about Trump ilck, but most of us have. Not exactly what one would want to experience when burdened with grief. And yes, the ugly and often threatening tone of his supporters would leave most sane people "cowed" from engaging.

I didn't fall off the turnip truck yesterday. This is a war, we are losing and there are going to be plenty of casualties. But some have lost enough already.
