For those GOPpies & [Redacted] apparatchiks demanding Mueller 'show his hand'...

Just a reminder:

Remember the old saying "Better to keep quiet and let people think you're an idiot than open your yap and remove all possible doubt"?

Apply it in the current situation.

I don't think you actually do want Mueller to start showing what he's got.

Right now, you have a few translucent shreds of credibility for the argument "He's got nothing". Hang onto them for dear life, because once he starts showing what he's actually got, those shreds will evaporate like the vapor they are.

helpfully,
Bright

It is amazing the scope of this investigation and how airtight it’s been. One of my big questions has always been about the total size of his staff. Reading about millions of shredded documents always makes me wonder—we know about his dozen or so big-named investigators, but how big would his complete department be? I don’t know anything about this stuff and am curious about how many people each investigator would probably need for such a huge undertaking.

I agree, the professionalism of the Mueller shop has been something to behold. Bored reporters who aren't getting anything from the Special Counsel's office could at the very least tell the American people about Mueller's ability to hold its own counsel. In an age when it seems everyone is anxious to get in front of a camera or a microphone and unburden themselves, Mueller's team just keeps working away, nearly oblivious to the pressure to leak salacious details.
