45 lies, claims parents of soldiers KIA during Korean War asked for his help. (Huh?)

Josh Marshall @joshtpm

[45] tells Fox that parents of soldiers killed in the Korean War asked him on the campaign trail to bring their sons home. (Absolute minimum age of such a parents is 101 years old. Probable age 110 to 120.)

2/ [Show Your Work] Korean War ends in 1953. Minus 18 years is 1935 (birth of KIA soldier). Minus another 18 years is 1917 (birth of bereaved parent). Ergo a spry 101 years old.

But he probably thinks M*A*S*H, which was on the air between 1972 and 1983, was a contemporaneous documentary. So of course it would be possible for parents to still be alive, since they'd probably be only in their 60s. And then he hallucinated that the parents of soldiers killed in the Korean War that was shown contemporaneously on M*A*S*H begged him during the campaign to bring their sons home from their unmarked graves near Hollywood.

Pretty hard to mistake one for the other except there were people of Asian descent in each war.

Twenty then. Eighty-seven now. His children are all in their fifties.

The last time Gramps could've talked to Trump would've been in 1993, when he was 90.

So yes, Trump's an obvious liar. But what bothers me more is he has no idea when the Korean War happened.

Stable genius, my ass.

at Trump's grasp of US history.

Why, you'd almost think he had graduated from a school system developed by Betsy DeVos.

The gravitas of this administration just gives me goosebumps!

Or maybe that's just a fight or flight reaction...
