Sarah Suckabee and the Keebler Elf invoke the Bible of all things for family separation

but can't cite the exact verse for some reason.

http://americablog.com/2018/06/sarah-huckabee-sanders-invokes-the-bible-to-defend-putting-immigrant-kids-in-prison-camps.html

All the Keebler Elf can do is quote something from Romans about obeying the laws of the government. I got news for you, elfie, family separation is not the law of the land. Dipshit.

Then God said, “Take your son, your only son, whom you love—Isaac—and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on a mountain I will show you.”

But isn't the Attorney General supposed to enforce the law, not the Bible?

O, what a goodly outside falsehood hath!”

The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the LORD your God.

so along their reasoning, that would mean if the trump admin made a law that children were to be starved or executed, then that would be the will of God to enforce that law. And that enforcement of every law under every dictator is right under the eyes of God.

Killing all the male children, and keeping the female ones that have not known man, and taking them for wives or sex slaves, or whatever.

Maybe that's what they're referring to.

And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me. If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.”

~ Matthew 18:2-6

Any so called Christians who hear of this and allow it are complicit in this horror. This will be on them. Those who make it happen and those who allow it without protest. It is another in many marks of shame this country has accumulated.

I find myself thinking relentlessly of leaving this country. Studying rules regarding what one needs to do to live in another country. Losing sleep that what we had is slipping away and the speed is accelerating daily. I thought we had made progress since my childhood in the 1950s. Sadly, I only see that we have regressed to a place I hoped we’d never see. 😢
