Whenever you read this, wherever you are today...

Manafort is in jail right this minute. I savor the thought because our system of government proved that it's still working.

Sure, it's a small thing in the face of such a powerful fascist opposition. But neither Trump, Putin, the oligarchs, the Kochs - none of them could keep Manafort out of jail today. We'll see what happens down the road. But today the schadenfreude is tasty sweet like my favorite ice ream soda.

or how well he will sleep on his prison mattress. His rich pampered ass is going to have to get used to not having the finest things in life and yet he will still have more than many homeless people. I hope he gets a job in the prison laundry because I hear he has much experience in laundering things. Sleep tight Paulie.
