Why the fuck does MSNBC have that piece of shit Hugh Hewitt on?

To give this fox news asshole a host's slot on MSNBC drives viewers away.

If I wanted the opinion from the other side, I'd turn to fox news (I do, sometimes). But I don't need it from MSNBC. To give the audience that leads the resistance, propaganda from the other side, is idiotic.

As a result, I turn to CNN during the segment. But, by being on CNN, I've found other programming that I like and I find myself watching it more and more. Especially when Trump attacks CNN as his primary enemy. That encourages me even more.

But Hugh Hewitt hosting his own segment? What the fuck are the people at MSNBC thinking?

I guess they are playing both sides.

they have hired many right wing commentators including Scarboro, Michael Steele, even Nicolle Wallace, David Frum, Steve Schmidt.
The odd thing is that Trump is so bad that these people couldn't stomach being seen as endorsing him any longer.

I guess Hewitt is their latest attempt to play it both ways - apparently he is a trumpinista who seems to show no signs of turning
My humble opinion anyway.

they were all pretty solid Repubs apparently brought in for "balance."

Maybe I am wrong. I still listen to them with a very skeptical ear.

We are a Nielsen family, so I am very careful to change channels when the trumpies are on.

There is no other place to go at times. CNN can be worse. I look forward to Rachel and Lawrence as the best of MSNBC. Without them I would throw away the TV.

I don’t even know when he’s on. We were in California recently and I turned the motel TV on while we were getting ready at like 7am and he was on and I think it was a Saturday. I could never stand his voice, as soon as he appears on anything on msnbc I have to turn the volume off.

Shep Smith is often the sole voice of truth on Faux. Hugh Hewitt is Baghdad Bob with his "Republicans are always right (even when they make a 180)" act.

conservatives are not going to flock to MSNBC because Hugh Hewitt get a small segment once a week of Saturdays.

but they can lose me to CNN. I used to not watch CNN. I was a MSNBC consumer, exclusively. now, it's mote like half and half. Maddow, O'Donnell, Tur and Wallace I watch, but Mathews is unwatchable. not because of his opinions, but his style. He talks over everyone. I've given up on Morning Joe. Getting ready for work (two hours, because of the care for my mother before the care-giver arrives) is now devoted to CNN. I would really like Nicole Wallace and Mathews to change places in the schedule. If you got to have Republicans, I'll take Wallace and Schmidt any time.

But Hewitt? Fuck him.

in order to hear the other side. But I don't want to hear FOX news propaganda on MSNBC. It gives that propaganda credibility it doesn't have when the bullshit is on FOX.

I don't want balance in my news. I want the truth. Any of these 24-hour "news" channels could cover ONLY the news and still have plenty of material to cover on an off day. They could have qualified guests discuss the news further, give more factual detail, but this habit of pretending opinions are facts is ridiculous. Everything aired as news should be heavily fact checked before airing, or in the case of breaking news, errors corrected as soon as possible. I'm really tired of the reality t.v. mentality that this shit is creating.
