Tim Allen got his show back because he's just Tim Allen...an unfunny Jeff Foxworthy kind of '"conservative." I don't follow his "real life"...I don't know that much about his views, I don't know if he's into the conspiracy theories too. But I'm not aware of any crazed meltdowns. He's just a guy who is loved by the Red Hats, and a guy who's not all that funny, so there's no harm in putting him back on TV so the Red Hats can sit and chuckle at his "humor."

And by "no harm," I'm not talking about the message he sends out...I'm talking about "harm" as in sponsors leaving. That never happened on his old show. His ratings just turned to crap and the network stopped smelling money.

It's all about money...sponsors, and boycotts, and sponsors leaving.
