If FOX is their only news source, how would they know? These viewers think that they are watching actual news. It will take other media, possibly newspapers, to get through the spin. Maybe once they are personally harmed, they will realize what a mess Trump has created. Probably won't admit it.

I can usually tell who they are. When I talk to them about Trump, they don't try to defend him - they just shrug and give me a "what can I say?" look.

But I think these folks are a minority. Most of the others are brainwashed completely.

now news come in as many flavors as baskin robbins has ice cream.
you pick the reality that best suites your belief system.

if the news you pick says trump is the best ever, and the same news gives you all kinds of sorta maybe facts that support that silliness, you will start to think trump is the best ever.

fox doesn't call trump a liar. if fox is your news then you might over look that fact

Yep.

It's called Confirmation Bias: "The tendency to interpret new evidence as confirmation of one's existing beliefs or theories."

7. In my perspective, for most it's not about investment.

It's more about the psychology of covering up your own insecurities with a serious tough-guy/gal facade, then harboring deep-seated resentment toward people that express and live an alternate way of dealing with the world (particularly if they see others that are vocal, successful, or happy and they're from a group that is historically supposed to be subordinate -- women, minorities, etc.).

A lot of what we see these days is just doing shit to try to drag the rest of us down into the gutter with them.

Fox, CNN, MSNBC. The coverage and spin on Fox was appalling. Between the facts and news stories and the key pieces of interviews with Democrats that they omit that show them in a poor light or fail to air their full responses to turnips latest dismantling of the country. Fox is an insidious organization. They really are a corollary the othird reich's propaganda machine.

I don't think the faux watching trumpers have a clue on what's happening.

To the true Deplorable, Trump is actually making good on the one promise they actually care about. He is elevating White, Male, Christian Dominionism in the country. They did not care, as they have not cared about economic issues, foreign policy, trade, or anything else other than having White Men back on top of the social food chain without question.

Stood and watched as they were led off to concentration camps and then happily worked in said camps.

I have no time for any of them, they deserve no quarter and frankly are a waste of time interacting with.
