Would you let Paul Manafort walk if he has testimony that can bring down the Trump crime family and end the Trump presidency ?

And he admitted to killing nineteen people.

Using that as a measure letting Manafort walk if he gives up the entire Trump crime family seems like justice, albeit rough justice.

We can thrown in that he has to pay restitution for the taxes he evaded.

I would let Manafort walk to get Trump, his kids, Pence, Sessions, Hannity, the Mercer Family, Erik Prince, Roger Stone, McConnell, Ryan, Nunes and anyone in the RNC who knew what was happening, turned a blind eye and hasn't already started cooperating.

Just Trump is not enough. The problem we're facing isn't Trump. It's that Republican establishment propping him up which needs to be rooted out and the earth salted to stop them springing up again.

That is not the way the justice system is supposed to work. Either everyone plays by the same rules or there is no confidence in our justice system.

An eighteen year old kid with no priors slinging rocks is picked up by the police. The penalties for possession of cocaine with intent to distribute range up to fifteen years in prison. He gives up the dealer who sold him the rocks. He gets probation. Is that justice? Without cooperating witnesses, i.e. snitches and rats lots of bad guys would be walking the streets.

What kind of deals do you think Flynn or Papadopoulos got ? Did you object to those deals ?

If Manafort's testimony led to the removal of Trump from office and his crime family facing charges I would adopt him.

Papa is fool. Flynn is dangerous but an idiot. Manafort is much, much worse. He was the Russia connection. In my mind, he is a bigger fish than the Rump. So what worries me is that he would be given a reduced sentence and be able to go back to wheeling and dealing with Putin in no time at all. Then #47 would be Kanye!

But getting rid of him at the cost of letting one of his biggest enablers go perpetuates the cycle. That is, unless the plea bargain called for constant surveillance and not being able to leave the country. I might go for that.
