I served on two ships. One had stalls with doors, the other one had a line of toilets with no stalls, and a chain hung across the row of toilets on which the toilet paper rolls were locked.

However, I did stay a couple of nights once at McDill Air Force base. They had maid service. It was like a motel. I never saw that anywhere on Navy bases.

He makes a lot of self deprecating jokes, one of which is he's not very big down there. He once had a NFL player who "confessed" to the same problem and he discussed the travails of communal showering. It was quite funny.
