Are we reaching a critical stage in the Trump presidency?

It seems like the trump train is ready to jump the track?

Trump, himself, seems to have lost all touch with reality. He begs FOX and Friends to report on his lies, without comment. The last thing on earth that he needs at this time is for his followers to hear the truth. Without FOX and Friends, he is nothing. They must remain loyal.

Also, he is scheduled to meet with Republican caucus on Tuesday to discuss his latest immigration strategy. He is loathe to admit that he may have over-played his hand with his new "zero tolerance" policy. His first impulse is to blame someone else. This time, the Democrats.

People are scrambling to get out of the White House. How long until it is only he and Rudy alone, talking to the paintings on the walls?

On top of all the personal misadventures, there is still Robert Mueller. Will he make a report before the first of September? How damaging will that be? How much evidence does he have on this life-long criminal?

Manafort, his former campaign manager, is now in jail. Michael Cohen, his fixer and former lawyer, may soon be sharing a cell at the VIP jail?

The wise Republicans will be getting off at the next stop. They truly do not want to ride this train to the end of the line.

The media won't allow it - ratings. They react - instead of detaching and sticking to the five W's and How - reporting, and moving onto the next segment.

Unless it's Rachel, Joy, or Rev Al who I watch SPECIFICALLY for that kind of analysis - I'd appreciate it if "reporters" would report ALL of the news.

Until this Admin is done - there will always be chaos in the White House. It's nothing special.

My guess is, we’ve not seen anything yet. Once we think we’ve seen it all, we end up seeing way more.
Sorry, but that’s what I’m seeing it.

Admittedly, the's jumping more sharks every day, but it hasn't fully sunk in just how bad he is.

Now, evangelicals are noticing the kids on the border, and that's going too far for them-- many believe that immigrant children should not be sacrificed in the fight for Jesus and against abortion. Good start.

But, Republican congresscritters are all too aware of the consequences for crossing The Boss. After November, win or lose, they will have little to fear from Trump so many should find their balls. I can't believe they are all happy with the way things are going.

Policy is policy and we can differ all we want, but at some point basic decency has to take over or we are completely lost. Reagan and the Bushes often had terrible policies, but I don't remember them saying "Fuck 'em" to large segments of society. As bad as their policies often were, there was always a glimmer of humanity in there somewhere, and they were capable of pulling back from some of the worst decisions.

I grew up in a Republican family, and none of them, even the Goldwater voters, would be less than shocked to their cores over the things Trump is doing.

We better prepare for it. The media isn't warning us, only watching.

but give which way?
When things gave way in Germany and Italy in the 30s, it wasn't a good outcome.
The GOP will not stop him from doing anything.

Trump supporters laugh and say "Do you really think Trump is going anywhere?"

Hopefully Manafort's incarceration is a preview of the time when we can tell them "You were right, he's not going anywhere."
