Not necessary to justify separating kids, parents at border, 'it's zero tolerance': Bannon

first of all, why the fuck is steve bannon on television talking for this administration? ABC should have told him to fuck off.

Former White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon said President Donald Trump doesn’t need to “justify” the policy of separating children from parents who are caught illegally crossing the southern U.S. border because the it is part of the administration's “zero tolerance” approach on illegal immigration.

“It’s zero tolerance. I don't think you have to justify it,” Bannon, who was also CEO of Trump's presidential campaign, said to ABC News Chief White House Correspondent Jonathan Karl in an exclusive interview on “This Week” Sunday.

“We ran on a policy -- very simply -- stop mass illegal immigration and limit legal immigration, get our sovereignty back to help our workers, and so he went to a zero tolerance policy," Bannon said. "It's a crime to come across illegally and children get separated. I mean, I hate to say it, that's the law and he's enforcing the law.”

On April 6, Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced in a Justice Department memo that the Trump administration was implementing a “zero-tolerance” immigration policy.

They are willing to give liars airtime if it helps ratings.

We should all stick to real truth-seeking journalism- mostly newspapers and outlets like The Atlantic and Mother Jones.

and better prepared to oppose them. Knowledge is crucial, even if it's disagreeable, because without all kinds of information we might as well limit ourselves to some lefty version of Fox news and become equally as myopic and uninformed as their viewers.

If you're asserting that we shouldn't get information from the MSM, when where do you suggest people go to suss out an approved list of "bonafide journalists" who are independent of the top tier news sources?

They keep adding restrictions on who qualifies, making sure that very few people will ever be allowed to stay. Trump, the illegitimate leader of our country, a nation built by and for immigrants, sent out his minions to enforce his prejudices to "limit legal immigration". They know they're in the wrong because they're all lying about existing laws, and trying to hide behind scripture in a cowardly attempt to pretend that they didn't write and sign these policies.
