I saw on Twitter tweet after tweet about how separating parents from their kids is un-American, and not the America they know.
Then, I came across a tweet of a Slave Dairy narrative in which a Woman former slave discusses having 5 of her children sold away from her.
The tweeter captioned his tweet with, "No. This IS the America some of us have always known."
I'm wondering will this horror spark folks' will to fight back, or exhaust their will?
I am hoping that THIS time we fight back. It won't be an easy fight considering the climate, yet things worth fighting for have never been easy, now have they.

But I hope people will fight and continue to fight - even when it seems like it's going good.
Complacency (and short memories) is (are) nothing more than a welcome mat to future atrocities.
This is what happened after Obama was elected. It was...okay we elected you, we done.
Well said Solly. We do not need complacency in these times.
If we have learned nothing else from all this. we can never let our guard down, not ever.
