Can you fucking believe this...Watch this from Border patrol... CBS News

This just in from @davidbegnaud: Border Patrol has reached out to @cbsthismorning and said they are "very uncomfortable" with the use of the word cages. They say it's not inaccurate and added that they may be cages but people are not being treated like animals.

.....................

Unfuckingbelievable.

Yes, they are cages, yes they are being treated like animals.

Even some of the beneficiaries of this crime against humanity are a bit surprised by the speed with which things are moving. The first shipments should be on the way soon.

In 2006, it was torture of “enemy combatants” in Iraq.

In 2018 it is torture of innocent 6 year olds.

Soon it will be general citizenry if America.

People in pens is NOT NEARLY as egregious as the NEW Trump policy of separating families, going so far as to even ship off people's children cross-country, in the dead of night, as you can read about in the heart-breaking letter from the flight attendant this AM.

Let's work on the worst/most urgent problem here first then we can work our way back to addressing things like the pens.

The framing is getting people's attention, and not in the way the Trump administration wants attention. If you've got a productive path to bringing this to an end, by all means pursue it. But the folks who are being effective at long last deserve their chance, too.
