Finally got through to Blunt's office

Explained I was a constituent, I vote in every election and as a Methodist (yes, the religious pov needs added for emphasis) that I was distressed and disgusted by watching innocent children ripped from their parents arms, as were many in my church groups.

The new line is that he is very concerned with what is happening and that there needs to be an end asap. I asked if he'd consider crossing party lines to sign on to the already available bill. His intern stated she couldn't speak for him at this time but that the official stance is that it must be across party lines.

We know this could read either way. She did say that the phone lines have been nonstop with constituent calls since she started work.

Everyone, make those phone calls! Call you Congressional rep, your Senators, the DOJ (I haven't got through yet), your state seats and even your city to find their views and express yours.
