The person was very cordial but I had to keep correcting her when she called Trump's policy a law. Republicans are trying to spread that lie. I also told her it is a losing issue. After her appearance on 60 minutes showing her part in crafting the law that protects the opioid manufacturers she is very vulnerable in her run for Corker's seat. There are already prominent Republicans coming out in favor of her opponent, Democrat Phil Bredesen. It will be close but I think he's got a good chance to beat her. He was a great Governor of our state and an outstanding Mayor of Nashville.

(10,843 posts)has a very good chance against the odious Blackburn, who has her own Russian financial ties. Bredesen is popular with both Dems and Republicans and has nurtured good relationships within both parties.
Blackburn? Not so much. She is a Tea Party Queen and consistent Trumpster apologist.
