People who have defended Trump from day one wouldn't be the least bit phased by a "pee tape" - no matter how gross, how depraved, how disgusting. They would simply dismiss it as they have everything else that has surfaced about his past "indiscretions" - i.e. that was then, this is now, and he has repented of his youthful ways.

And Trump and his sycophants know that.

There is something being held over his head, to be sure - but it is far more damning than a dalliance with urinating Russian hookers.

My guess is - and always has been - that Putin's hold has to do with money, and his ability to financially ruin Trump. There is nothing more important to Trump than his financial well-being; it's what has given him power throughout his life.

Of course, it's well within the realm of possibility that Mueller, through his broad-ranging investigation into every aspect of Trump's businesses and financial dealings, has already discovered what that hold is.
