I call it hypocrisy.

The people who are A-Ok with this atrocity are the same one's who cherrypick Leviticus to condemn homosexuality while ignoring shellfish and blended fabrics...FUCK THEM.

But I've noticed that the "right to life" organizations' billboards in these parts always show pictures of adorable, healthy white babies who have to be at least 6 months old - not fetuses. And they are always white. I've never seen an anti-abortion ad featuring a baby who wasn't white. But the children being taken from their parents are brown, so who cares? They'll just grow up to be gang members and rapists anyhow.

Some guys have a sick fantasy of being able to spread their seeds anytime, anywhere. And the women who go along with it come off as abuse victims with Stockholm Syndrome. IMHO.

I met a man who believed that the ex-boyfriend, brother, father, grandfather, or child of a woman with an unwanted pregnancy should have the RIGHT to prevent her from getting an abortion because of his family relationship to the fetus. Catholicism is deeply patriarchal.
