Asian market, for what it's worth

In 10 minutes I've watched the Hong Kong (Hang Seng?) drop from -1.38% to -1.80%, perhaps because these tariff/soybean threats being lobbed all over.

Maybe it's typical fluctuation, nothing to worry about. Hope so. I just don't know enough about this stuff.

And my long-term earnings are better than my short-term earnings, so what the devil are you talking about?

It's extremely odd that you choose to ignore my point and just repeat that ridiculous random time frame.

10. Extremely valid point based on 56 years in stock market

Yes, I began trading stocks in 1962. May be before you wuz born.

The 16 month time is significant. Why you ask? Because the stock market began going up based on hype by the newly anointed president. The earnings of corporations did not increase by 50%. But the stock market did!

What exactly did Trump do to cause such rapid rise for the first year in office? He gave a huge taxcut to the top 1% richest. Not a penny was cut from spending, which is now causing the biggest increase in budget deficits as far as the eye can see.

Getting back to my original point, market is likely to correct by 20%, and that would be normal, beneficial in the long run.

14. A vicious drop is coming, but not before late 2019

or as late as fall of 2020. The gift corporations received in cutting marginal tax rates from 35% down to 21% could carry the markets for some time.

But inflation caused by printing money to cover the deficits is already here, and will only accelerate as tariffs kick in. Interest rates always follow inflation, and stock market corrections follow interest rate hikes.

It will happen. The orange one has called out too many demons.
Might not happen tomorrow or next week, but it will happen.

with 1 more increase scheduled in 2018 and 3 more in 2019.
That will burst 2 or 3 bubbles, Bonds, stocks & housing.
