from what devious things he is doing behind the scenes

(7,633 posts)It's not one of those outrageous things he says on Twitter to distract us. It's actually a human right abuse that is happening in front of us. I do not think it should be relegated to the status of just a distraction.

(2,415 posts)He has really riled up people on both sides of this fiasco. I just received a series of drunk texts from a friend who is very angry about the outrage of removing children. I just never responded, and she finally said that she was open to discussion and was just too drunk at the moment. Im not getting into an argument over this with a friend. She wont change her mind anyway. I have several friends who are very angry about those wanting to come here from south of the border, and see them as taking money from us.

Trump and his cronies figured they and the 39-41% approval ratings are teflon and a little human rights violation wouldn't bother anyone. Boy were they fucking wrong!
For a lot of Americans, the Trump = Hitler comparisons aren't so far-fetched anymore. If that's the Trump administration's idea of a distraction, they might want to rethink their strategy.
