There is an acute need for more interpreters, because when many of these "cases" go before a judge there isn't an interpreter in the room. They're asking small children questions in English and when they can't answer they just steamroll on to the next case. The entire system is a kangaroo court. Due process is a joke to them!

First, she argued that the photo was a fake. Then, this Facebook friend of a friend argued that it doesn’t matter what happens to these children.

Watching children being taken from their families and institutionalized by the thousands is heartbreaking. It feels so helpless to watch from my Blue state: my representatives in Congress don’t need to be convinced. I have donated what I can to non-profits working on this issue. I’m not a lawyer and don’t speak enough Spanish to volunteer to help.

But what all of these lists going around with things to do are missing is ***challenging those justifying this new policy.****

Some of us are doing it already, and we must continue! We’re holding facts and evidence up. We are challenging our friends, family, and neighbors when they legitimize what’s happening.

No notice for extra clerical duty so they can track the children and reunite them when their parents get deported. Instead we have thousands of children living here with our government having no plans for them other than cages and jails. WTF, why are they getting rid of the parents but leaving the children here?
