"Ladies and Gentlemen: I present to you the next President of the United States."

I'm not here to bore you with politics today. You all know my career and the many laws and policies I have supported and that I stand for. Instead, I would like to talk about why you should vote for me even if you don't like my policies.
I'm married with kids. I'm still on my first wife and I have never cheated on her. I have also never been accused of sexual assault.
I know how to manage finances. I have never been bankrupt.
I have never done business with foreign dictators.
I have never done business with the mob.
I have never been sued for racial discrimination.
I have never cheated a small business out of the money I owe them.
I have never had any admiration for dictators or their policies.
As for my work-ethics, I work hard, I work structured, and I prepare myself. I am capable of reading long reports that do not contain pictures, and of taking part in long meetings.
I try to educate myself by reading books, preferably classic novels. I never have and never will post random thoughts on the internet in the middle of the night.
And lastly, I think it's important to watch what you say around children. As a President, my comments, speeches and writings will not contain any profanities or insults and will be suitable for children of all ages.
If you think that all these things make me a better choice than the other candidate, then I would be grateful to see you vote for me this November.

and I LOVE Doonesbury but... I tend to think adding the platform of what our candidate will actually DO, 'if' those in the House and Senate work WITH them instead of AGAINST them, might garner even more votes don't you?
