The GOP leadership literally cannot stop lying, of course, because they've built their positions over the past decades on a mountain of lies. It would be interesting, though, to see them, masks off, contemptuously tell their voters they need to take care of themselves, not sponge off their betters, and should be grateful for any leavings they get.
