He's stupid like that. His incompetence is sometimes amusing and sometime horrifying.

CD8 is kind of up for grabs, and since it's been historically dependent on iron mining, Spanky's tariffs might be more popular there. But the city of Duluth isn't GOP, and protests, some of them sponsored by churches, are planned. I think the protests will be especially well-attended in light of the family separation policy.

The pressure on Trump is coming from all sides now and I wonder if he'll be able to handle it. His minders might need to sedate him somehow tomorrow and keep a close eye on him. We're gonna hear some crazy stuff coming from him at this rally.

1), He'll take a victory lap for the NK "Summit" and complain bitterly that he's not been treated like a hero. That's half the reason he's doing it. He needs the roar of the crowd, because outside of his rallies, no one was roaring.

2). He'll blame the Democrats for the child internment camps. He's been doing it, and even Republicans have debunked it, but he still needs that roar of the crowd when he says "it's their fault."

He needs a major win in advance of the midterms, and he needs to discredit Democrats. This is how he's attempting both, this is what the "rally" will be all about.

As such, it means the general public is not invited to join this suppurating pustule of a man. Only verified bona fide Trump partisans will be allowed into the venue for this re-election rally.

I hope a lot of good liberals in Duluth do that to ensure the venue isn't full (it probably won't be anyhow).
