Wow. Sen. Nelson refused entry into a detention center. Stating he was told he has to make an application two weeks in advance. Nelson stating the administration is hiding something and that he is ashamed of the administration.
Maybe this will be the gateway for republicans to escape the cult.
Me.

The politicians have no respect for their base. They consider the base to be stupid and easily manipulated. They have been convincing their base to act their best interests very successfully.

Pretty sure the Homestead, Florida facility is on federal property.
Nelson (D) should be able to get in.
(Don't know if this is Schultz's district or not)
Will Hurd (R) was allowed to tour Tornillo. (On federal property)
So are they only letting Republicans tour??????

(41,986 posts)Those children and families need heroes right now. The fact they're going there and being turned away looks very, very bad. It reeks of child abuse and cover-up. It reeks of incompetence and cover-up. It reeks of concentration camps and he is looking more and more inhumane and inhuman every minute.
They need to be absolute bulldogs.

Those 24/7 webcams don't HAVE TO ALL BE PUBLIC-
-the Webcams in the Republicans concentration camps and all prisons of all types should be available to all senior government officials 24/7.
Public webcams for all contract workers, BLM/parks and wildlife tasked to work for 'the people' on OUR public lands.

It's time to answer terror with a larger force. Make the cowards back down. My bet is that they'd be somewhat more docile than they are when facing a group of terrified children.
The local goons might whine "you have no jurisdiction on US territory," to which Nelson and the Special Forces should answer, "what you sadists are doing doesn't happen on US territory. We are here to take it back for the United States. Stand down or get put down. Your call." THEN see who calls for their mommy.
Drastic? Really? What do you call what the Trump Administration is doing?

(3,056 posts)But Republicans have embraced the cult. They've drunk the Kool-Aid. I'm still waiting for any of them who supposedly is a "moderate" to sign onto the Dems new bill to end this outrage. They won't. I used to think the Democrats were gutless for the way they never seemed to have Obama's back when he needed them. These guys make them look like a Seal Team.

I hate to be that process-oriented instead of focusing on the children, but Rick Scott has shamelessly used every Florida tragedy of the past 2 years to reshape his image toward stealing the senate seat. It has been more effective than I expected.
