The hand book of fascist tactics is well known and being run chapter and verse right now.

Dehumanization also leads to extermination. The references to immigrants as a "horde" and "infestation" is no accident...once the 'troublemakers' in the press and society are jailed, the true aim of killing these people can begin.

Think I am being hyperbolic? Do you believe 18 months ago that the United States of America would be an international parriah and a nation actively separating mothers and children into detention camps? What do you think is possible 18 months from now, when the economy is cratering and the scapegoating demands blood? Mark my words, if this is allowed to stand, the seed is sown and the harvest is a new human tragedy of the likes we never believed would happen here...

They will separate families elsewhere than the border. They especially will target Muslims and people other than Hispanics.

The overall goal of the policy is to deter further undocumented immigration.

The short to mid term goal is to rally their racist base and fund raisers for the mid term elections
