MSNBC: Some separations become permanent. Kids lost to their parents forever.

Some of the children will go into foster programs to be adopted because the U.S. government is deporting the parents without their children.

Once deported, some of the parents will not have the resources or understanding on how to get their children back.

Those children will become wards of the state. They will be placed in foster homes, even adopted out to an American family.

As I've said a few times already, I've read news articles where parents have been deported without their children and one father was told by Border Patrol that his child was "Somewhere in Texas" but that the father had to go then and there, without his child.

if this keeps up. Where are the girls and toddlers where are they???

We need to keep on fighting this, or there will be more atrocities to come.

ICE and Border Patrol are to held in cages themselves. This is not America.

tRump needs his ass to be in a cage.

I don't know where they are and it seems Trump doesn't want us to know either.

The question is "Why?".

Not sure the answer is a good one.

Wonder how many secret adoptions are taking place during all of this?

America has stolen children before.

They were so eager to kidnap these kids that no one ever thought to implement an organized tracking system to locate them after they were ripped out of their parent's arms. Now we have Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen yesterday admitting that her agency does know where these kids are once they are transferred to another agency.

They've shipped infants and toddlers, too young to talk, all around the country with no logistical system in place to keep tabs on their whereabouts and condition, or any plan to return them to their parents.

Unaccompanied minors lost.

I watched her. She's a POS, like the rest.

Lawyers and lots of them need to hit the border and help.

Even send lawyers to the home countries to help lawyers in the country get the kids back

The premise of the show is that people are trying to find their birth mother or father or siblings or child. The subject always finds who they are looking for, and there's an emotional -- and tearful -- reunion, which makes for what passes for good television. Local television news uses the same technique when they ask a parent whose child was just killed, "How do you feel?"

Maybe Telemundo would be interested?

Actually, this is a terrible idea. A better one would be for everyone -- government, non-profits, religious groups -- to take on the task of finding and reuniting these families.

America did it before with slaves, the adult slaves themselves, with the children of Native peoples, and Japanese-Americans.

It was wrong then and it is wrong now.

You don't steal people. You simply don't.

It's all been done under the guise of "law".

It's all been done with bible quote justifications.

It has to stop.
