Seems the Constitution really is a suicide pact

The Republican Party, led by the orange disease, are, constitutionally, in control of the entire American government.

Even if a "Blue Wave" happens, Democrats will not control even a piece of the government until next January.

But how much of our democracy will be left by next January?

The terrorism being inflicted upon American democracy at this very moment may be irreversible.

Those in charge are spitting on the Statue of Liberty, shredding families at the border, and destroying America's claim to decency and morality.

And all of our posting here on DU is having zero effect on the dark cloud of insanity that has descended upon the land.

At some point, protests, calls to congress, widespread public outrage, and media coverage of the ongoing destruction of our government is meaningless.

The founders, the writers of the Constitution, didn't/couldn't foresee this. So it seems that we, and those poor victims at the border, are totally fucked.

So what, if anything, are we going to do about it?
