Trump on his way to Capitol Hill to meet GOP - This must be tanking.

He is going to try and bully them.

President Trump has left the White House and is on his way to Capitol Hill to meet with Republican lawmakers. He's joined by Stephen Miller, John Kelly and Kirstjen Nielsen. Party members are openly rebuking the admin's zero tolerance border policy. This should get interesting.

......................................................

I suspect Tipping point has been reached, he's going to go in their like a bull and fuck them right off.

Trump's family separation policy has turned Hill Republicans into administration critics.

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump is facing an unusual reaction from congressional Republicans as he visits the Capitol Tuesday night to talk to them about immigration: They're pushing back on him because they're worried about the effect of his policies on their electoral prospects in November.

"I support, and all of the Republican conference support, a plan that keeps families together while their immigration status is determined," said Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky.

Trump's making the trip to discuss House immigration legislation that would partially fund a wall at the Mexican border, crack down on both illegal and legal immigration, provide protection from deportation for people who came to the country illegally as children and perhaps end his "zero tolerance" policy that has separated undocumented children from their parents.

But it's the latter issue — one that could be changed by Trump himself or by legislative action — that has roiled the debate over his priorities, turned House Republicans into critics of his policy and pushed Senate Republican leaders into open rebellion.

Then Trump will grandstand and take credit for forcing to get legislation passed (that never needed to be passed), being the strong leader that America needs and never ever ever had, and for solving the crisis (that he made) single handedly.

how they are so concerned about it, and will cease the separation practice, but then blame it on the Democrats for not working with them for an immigration bill, or building the wall.

It is a fraud and there is a good likely hood that most of the media will let him slide, and say all is well now

Why isn't Trump going up the hill with his posse to talk to the Democrats? Is he bringing Secretary Nielsen along to alternately say there is no policy and she's not going to apologize for the policy? What is Miller going to do, demonstrate his goose stepping prowess (or "pro ess" as his boss would pronounce it). I guess Kelly's tagging along so that any Republicans who look at him with that "Can you believe this moron" face can get a dour nod.

Something like this imo: They'll support Dump privately but will be allowed to publicly voice their fake "concerns" about the issue.

Dump, Miller, Kelly, Nielsen.....this racist salad is missing some Sessions.
