How corrupt is Texas politics? See what Delay just did.

His lawyer got the Dem appeals court judge taken off his case.
The entire court is now Reep. This is so ugly. Sheesh.

http://www.statesman.com/news/texas-politics/appeals-judge-off-delay-case-2428153.html

Former U.S. House Majority Leader Tom DeLay has won a tactical victory with the removal of Justice Diane Henson, a Democrat, from his appeal.

A motion to remove Henson was granted late Friday without comment and posted on the 3rd Court of Appeals' website. The action might put the much-delayed appellate case back on track.

"All we ever asked for was a level playing field," said Brian Wice, DeLay's appellate lawyer from Houston. "That wasn't going to happen as long as Justice Henson's DNA was on the case."

There is not a dirty trick which has been used or to be conceived which he does not like. He called on Homeland Security tp trace Texas lawmakers so as to have district lines drawm in order to get repubs elected. He is dirty

Judges are as partisan as any other office.

This judge was disqualified for campaigning as a Democrat.

6. Delay is the only reason Texas is still Red! His re-districting set everything way back.

He will never serve time because the powers that be stacked the Courts here a long time ago. The powers that be have had a plan for 30 years, they now control almost everything! All 3 branches of government, plus local, and state, the Courts, and the media. They have privatized many functions of government so they could get our tax dollars more efficiently. People need to wake the hell up as to how bad everything is! We must tell R's and D's it is not about the usual squabbles they have us go round and round with. It is much easier than trying to convince them to change sides from R to D or vice versa. Complete Campaign Finance Reform! that and regulating our airwaves!

I'd say ignorance (Tx is famous for it... just look at a text book!), prejudice, nepotism, and that stupid cowboy myth is what keeps TX red. Delay is just a symptom.

Ya know, the holier-than-thou folks, the ones who are right with God and ever so eager to point out how you and I are not.

And, big money payoffs, just the kind of payoffs that put Delay in this court.

No comment given. How corrupt.

He meant to say "steep downhill run towards the usual Texas GOP cheating and corruption." There! Fixed it for him.
