(870 posts)..... and let's look into the Melania Immigration too...and her parents...too !!!!
The entire Trump Family, yes including his ancestry... are vile insults to America, Yes, that includes his swindler daddy, who used Government Money to build properties for his personal gain. All the way to his tax swindling son, Donald J. Trump...
This family has been an INSULT TO AMERICA, from the earliest acts of his Pimp Grand-daddy....
While we are at it, let's Lock up Guillani, because we now know his acts against the New York Mob, was to install a new Mob and support the Trump links into the Mob, created by the acts of Guilliani to pave the way.

(505 posts)Our new interior minister is a law & order guy, and he is extremely concerned that an "Einreiseverbot" apparently has no real effect right now, because after finding that there are no grounds for asylum, and after deportation, the asylum seekers simply come back, and even though that is verboten, we apparently let them in officially. So Herr Seehofer is pissed and risks the coalition because he wants Merkel to basically turn around and say "Refugees not welcome if you're already registered in Italy, Greece, Spain or anywhere else! Come here by plane or don't come at all!", and, of course, he wants to change it so "Einreiseverbot" is actually a thing.
I'd make one exception though. If Donald decides to step down from the presidency, we should take one for the team and offer to lift that Einreiseverbot that the wise and most powerful prince regent established 100 years (?) ago.
Edit: After reading again, I'd make a lot of exceptions. I want asylum seekers to be able to come to Germany. If someone causes trouble and is not in real danger in his home country, then he should be deported and not be allowed to come back though.

(13,776 posts)Maybe if immigrants write to Trump and address him as "Most Serene, Most Powerful Prince! Most Gracious Lord!" he'll change his mind. Flattery is the only thing he'll listen to.
It is true.
Trump's grandpa came to the US to avoid military service. Later, he returned to the German Empire in Kallstadt from he originated (Trump ancestor lived there since 17th century), married his neighbor's daughter Elisabeth and went back to the US.
His wife didn't like to live in the US, so he sold his properties and moved again to Kallstadt.
Bavarian authorities determined that Trump had emigrated from Germany to avoid his military-service obligations, and he was classified as a draft dodger.
Emigrating to avoid military duties was punished by the loss of German citizenship.

(205,499 posts)And this should be discussed on the news shows, brought up in press conferences, and shouted at Trump by reporters! I have no illusions that he'll care in the least, he gives no thought to others besides himself, but the revelation may just be a wake up call for somebody!
