...let's be sure to remind everyone how much of the 2016 Republican primaries trying to position himself to scoop up Trump supporters (the same people he's playing to with the kidnapping policy) when the inevitable (he thought) Trump flameout happened.

Only it never came, because the monster Republicans had fed for two generations finally slipped its leash.
