Politicians are suppose to kiss children, not do state sponsored child abuse. This is a GOP disaster

This is what happens when you put only racist, crazy, ass holes around you instead of a few devils advocates and people of all different persuasions and experiences. You start implementing policies your little Nazi group-think buddies LOVE but 3/4 of the country find absolutely appalling.

Trump really stepped in it with this one. The fucking CRAZY, PIG-FACE, SHIT-HOLE, KKK base LOVES this! Absolutely love it! Unfortunately for them 70% of the country is disgusted on an epic level. So what to do now that you have dug yourself into a hole like this? They really have no idea how to clean this up. They have gone from "The Bible says this is great!" to "Oops, we were wrong about the Bible, this was the Democrats and there is NOTHING we can do!!!" to "These places are like summer camp!"

They really stepped in it this time and there is no where to go. They end it and the base will be pissed and if they don't end it then they will be slaughtered in the midterms.

Smooth move ex-lax Trump. This is what you get when you are so weak you only want people who agree with you on the team and I can guarantee you they will continue to do shit the base will love and the rest of the country will be appalled by if Trump doesn't break up his group-think cabinet of like minded Nazi's.

look like a smashing PR success in comparison.

I hope this ends quickly though. The psychological damage being inflicted on these children is too much, unbearable. I hope they grow up and realize that the majority of us were on their side. Small comfort I suppose.

If he is going to get his stupid wall then we should get the Dream Act. Then in 5 years there will be all kinds of stories of how the wall isn't working. It will cost too much to sustain and it will crumble just like Hadrian's Wall did.

But man is this tough. This POS is literally inflicting psychological torment on human beings, as we speak, to get what he wants. Not only that, but Trump seems unfazed by the firestorm this is causing. He's doubling down!

A stupid wall (that's doomed to fail) seems like a small price to pay to get these children back to their parents.

when you strongly oppose foreign aid to third world countries that need a hand with development and security. If they don't get the help they need some of their citizens are liable to brave a dangerous journey and come knocking on your door looking for a decent place to raise their kids. Gun manufacturers flooding those countries with guns gives people even more reason to leave, though I don't know how many of the guns in Central America originated in the U.S.

To some extent Republicans have invited all this migration with their greedy opposition to foreign aid and unquestioning support for the NRA and gun manufacturers.
