She went all in on defending human atrocities. There is no apology that makes everything OK. It's a permanent stain on her life that she will never escape. I don't know if she has realized that yet. My problem with her is that she was reportedly against splitting families, but she didn't have the courage to resign. Instead, she went all in as a white supremacist. Not even Miller is willing to do that on camera.
The problem with working for Trump is that it's a stain on your life. He ruins everything. But she chose to go all in on child separation. It's all over for her.

(4,483 posts)for anyone in this administration with a shred of humanity in their souls. I hate to say it, but much as I pray that these folks--and I'm looking at you, Smokey Sanders--will be unemployable when this hellish time is over, they're all going to be fine. They'll get jobs at Fox News, or work for the Koch brothers or Rebekah Mercer, and they'll show up on fucking CNN (who are determined to find two sides to every story, even when the other side is Be A Nazi) as "contributors". Fuck'em all, and even if it means I fry in hell forever, part of me wants there to be a vengeful god waiting for them with a handbasket ticket to hell.

(5,542 posts)Have taught us that no Republican is beyond recycling. The same evil bastards keep coming back to haunt us.
As long as the party continues to value those characteristics in their apparatchiks, then they will all have a job.
It's like the fucking mafia, you have to do something evil to earn your place.
