CNN nicely tiptoes around Trumps FOLD/REVERSAL on separating families

President Donald Trump on Wednesday reversed his debunked argument that he had no authority to stop separations of undocumented immigrant families at the border, signing an executive order to keep parents and kids together.

Just the day before, Trump had claimed his administration's hands were tied without congressional action.

By Wednesday morning, he had changed course.

It's not clear what, if anything, will be done to reunite those already separated.

Indefinite detainment of children goes against the Flores Settlement, so a court will need to amend Flores (unlikely) or Congress will have to overrule it with legislation that would undoubtedly be horrific. Or due process will be disregarded in favor of expediting deportation.
