I'm really starting to hate motorcycles...

For one main reason.

I live near a roundabout, and during the spring and summer motorcycles, especially Japanese ones are driven past my building, not at 25-30 mph, which is the speed limit.

Nope, they have to drive at 50, 60, even 70, making that nerve-jangling roaring sound.

Every so often I see one get busted for speeding.

But the noise is really bad, even at 3 am.

Like the speed limit.

It's not just motorcycles, either, sports car and big pickup owners are just as bad.

Stupid is as stupid does.. Fall off and crack your head open.. .dumb
The classic example of karma was the person who was petitioning the state of Florida to rescind the helmet law. One week after the law passed she had a "unscheduled dismount" and slid her head into a curb.. Dead and dead. But she looked cool.
Those big bars are big levers. A emergency stop and they fold forward and your off the bike head first.. again... dumb. But they look cool...
I like to ride. When I do I have all my protective gear on, I look like the Pillsbury dough boy
I dress for the crash, not to look good..

Try to petition the county to put speed bumps or "humps" around the circle to slow them down...

The motorcycles don't do it by themselves, and not all riders are assholes.

Then there are the idiots wearing t shirts and no helmet spouting off "loud pipes save lives"

Pretty obvious safety isn't on the top of their priority list

towns like they own the place and nobody wants them there. They are so loud and obnoxious. I wish there was a law against the noise.

One was riding in S. Dakota and got hit by 2 deer. He us a mess. He still can't walk w/o a walker. He had 87 staples in his leg.

And my next door neighbor just crashed last Saturday. He is still in the hospital with a broken leg. I guess his leg is really messed up. I doubt that his insurance is very good if he has insurance at all.
He is young and that leg won't ever be the same.

And that is why I don't like motorcycles.

Those Japanese bikes are really loud. I can hear them tearing down I29 from my house. The Harleys don't bother me much. I think I just got used to them.

Most of them are older and they have some very elaborate machines, but I've never understood why they don't have mufflers.
