Brian Kilmeade on Trump’s Child Separation Policies: ‘These Aren’t Our Kids,’ It’s Not Like They’re From ‘Idaho or Texas’

by Ken Meyer | 9:18 am, June 22nd, 2018

On Friday’s Fox & Friends, Brian Kilmeade defended President Donald Trump‘s border policies at one point by more or less saying, Hey, at least he’s not taking American kids away from their parents.

As Kilmeade spoke with his colleagues about the ongoing debate surrounding the immigration compromise bill being floated through Congress, he expressed support for Trump broadcasting a deterrent for Latin American migrants who wish to seek shelter in the United States. This tied in with a broader show of support for how Trump is enforcing the rule of law by taking border security seriously. “Somebody has to deal with this issue,” Kilmeade said. “We just can’t let everybody in that wants to be here.”

Shortly after that, Kilmeade topped off his commentary with this statement:

“Like it or not, these aren’t our kids. Show them compassion, but it’s not like he is doing this to the people of Idaho or Texas. These are people from another country and now people are saying that they’re more important than people in our country who are paying taxes and who have needs as well.”

richer off this dumbshit policy. There was a program in place to track people via monitoring devices that cost taxpayers 1/10 of what we're now spending.

The fascists have infested our country.

Don't bother Mr. Kilmeade's addled mind with concepts like humanity and compassion. He's not alone. How do people support Trump? They are seriously lacking in those qualities as well as needing to suspend disbelief to swallow the garbage he spews. Critical thinking skills? Forget it. Just an unnecessary burden. Nobody who is a racist actually comes out and says "I'm a racist". But they sure do tell you in other ways.

No, these aren't your kids, Brian. They're your Savior. Why do you hate Jesus?

No man is an island entire of itself; every man
is a piece of the continent, a part of the main;
if a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe
is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as
well as any manner of thy friends or of thine
own were; any man's death diminishes me,
because I am involved in mankind.
And therefore never send to know for whom
the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.

It's always affecting those "other" people, not their morally superior little enclave.
