Dadgummit, Manafort's had yet another shitty day in court:

Judge Amy Berman Jackson has denied Paul Manafort's motion to
dismiss count 2 of his superseding indictment--money laundering--and
the forfeiture allegation based on that charge.

He might also be well-advised to seek help from the Federal Witness Protection Program.

She really doesn't need to be surrounded by thugs.

The kids are grown; their daughter apparently married (and divorced) a thug who ended up flipping on Manafort.

he will now be subject to Asset Forfeiture for Expenses for conducting Court ordered investigations and other things.

He will be in Chapter 7 by this time next year. All his Mortgages are most likely in default and subject to Legal actions.

You can just go to court and be like, "Hey, you know those charges against me? Why don't we just throw those all out?"

And the judge can go "Okay, whatev's Gee!"

Is that just in the rich people rules, or is it something high-powered lawyers do because "it's worth a shot"?
