**BREAKING** Navy to build internment camps to hold up to 100,000 migrants

The U.S. Navy is preparing plans to construct sprawling detention centers for tens of thousands of immigrants on remote bases in California, Alabama and Arizona, escalating the military’s task in implementing President Donald Trump’s “zero tolerance” policy for people caught crossing the Southern border, according to a copy of a draft memo obtained by TIME.

The internal document, drafted for the Navy Secretary’s approval, signals how the military is anticipating its role in Trump’s immigration crackdown. The planning document indicates a potential growing military responsibility in an administration caught flat-footed in having to house waves of migrants awaiting civilian criminal proceedings.

The Navy memo outlines plans to build “temporary and austere” tent cities to house 25,000 migrants at abandoned airfields just outside the Florida panhandle near Mobile, Alabama, at Navy Outlying Field Wolf in Orange Beach, Alabama, and nearby Navy Outlying Field Silverhill.

There were approximately 120,000 Japanese Americans imprisoned during the WII internment.

as well as members of other branches of government.

We need to keep our government including these camps under our control, under our observation.

This is not a good idea in my opinion.

Where is the ACLU on this idea?

and military facilities under commander in chief jurisdiction will probably be very difficuly to access. Military will follow trumps commands as commander in chief not even supreme court.

He said that Congress has to approve the $$$ to build this stuff. Are they really going to sign this? Midterms are coming up and the moron just killed their latest immigration bill so they are under a lot of pressure. We must keep the negative PR optics up...the Resistance is working.

I'm wondering that about all of these internment camps: how many of the guards work for the government and how many are PMCs?

Then maybe it will all settle back down.

Here's hoping that not a single facility is built before November so we can put the kybosh on this ramping up of the atrocity.

It's a systematic concentration camp roll-out.
Guess who they're for. Is it too late?

Boaters should keep an eye out and report if there’s traffic increase to San Nicolas island and other remote Navy installations. It would not shock me if Trump tries to hide his victims there because it’s an island and thus easier to control access to the press and public.

By GOP standards they're expendable. They're not white, not rich and don't worship Kim Jong Trump.
