This is the bizarre moment two elderly women were knocked to the ground after a man backed into them in his electric wheelchair - before driving off.

The clip shows the two ladies, one believed to be in her 90s, waiting at a bus stop outside what appears to be a newsagent.


Footage from inside the shop shows the women waiting patiently as a man in the electric wheelchair drives past.

However, rather than continuing on the path, he then starts backing his chair into the two women who are facing the other way as they wait for their bus.
