Walter Shaub answer to Trump's tweet about "Red Hen Resstaurant"

The Red Hen Restaurant should focus more on cleaning its filthy canopies, doors and windows (badly needs a paint job) rather than refusing to serve a fine person like Sarah Huckabee Sanders. I always had a rule, if a restaurant is dirty on the outside, it is dirty on the inside!

One fine morning the president of a 330 million person country with the world’s largest nuclear arsenal decided the matter most needing his attention was the vengeful destruction of a rural eatery. Stealing babies and children made him hurt less, but the little things helped too.

p.s. Trump’s Red Hen rant would also violate the misuse of position regulation, if he followed the tradition of trying to act as though it applied. But this walking conflict of interest has chosen to hold himself to a lower standard than the federal workforce he supervises.

It would be easy to identify both when attacks happen and the messages to delete. A simple algorithim would look for huge peaks in the number of reviews - and then eliminate all reviews for that elevated period or eliminate all reviews from that period from people more than n (100?) miles away. Either would eliminate some legitimate reviews, but the number would be small compared to the number of bogus reviews.

by the restaurant.

So somehow, it might get cleaned up. Maybe the review sites should partner with restaurants and have reviewers enter a verification code that shows people ate at a place before they are allowed to leave a review.

Many of them have failed multiple health and safety inspections and failed to meet restaurant codes - and that includes Mar-A-Shithole. If he's going to criticize other restaurants that way, he should look at his own first.

I think it is not as simple as that.

Since he regularly communicates as President and not as a private citizen, the account could be assimilated to the official account.

I'm not familiar with your legal system, but here that's probably what would happen.

Maybe a DU member who is also a lawyer can shed some light ?

Considering that his grandfather owned and ran a brothel; and that his (alleged) father was arrested for "refusing to disperse" from a KKK march, before being charged as a war profiteer, and eventually being cited for Civil Rights violations in leasing property; this rotten persimmon didn't fall from the withered, gnarled limb of a diseased tree.

The meanest thing a stockbroker from another company can say about your brokerage is it’s a “fine firm.” One has to wonder if his referring to Mrs. Sanders in such a fashion isn’t the same sort of veiled insult.

And come on, Don: you never even heard of the Red Hen until they threw your minion out of it. Do the words “actionable tort” mean anything to you?

I knew Trump and company would comment on the appearance of the Red Hen. As I was watching the report about the SHS incident, the cameraman did a closeup of the establishment's exterior, which I assumed was on purpose. I did notice how it needed work done. At the time I was thinking that some republican would make a comment about its condition...not surprised it would be Trump.
