Antifa is a loose confederacy of people so pinning down any specific line of thought is hard. But roughly speaking, they assert that a society must confront fascism immediately. It cannot be "tolerated" at all. Generally speaking they believe it has to be done by the individuals in the society, not the government. Of course much of the controversy surrounding Antifa is because of some participants definition of "confront".
